The church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon the ship, but to keep her on her course. – St. Boniface
There is an all out attack on Christianity. The morals Christians have held as the mainstay of our faith are not the moral compass of today’s world and we as Christians are not fighting back. Why is this happening? If Christians speak against anything that is popular in society than we are the ones who are wrong. Catholics have followed and preached the gospel for the last 2000 years and now we are the enemy and now we are the ones who have to change.
And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. – Matthew 16:18
These are the words of Jesus Christ and he has promised us that we will survive. The church has been through some tough times in the past and came out even stronger. But we must do our part in this battle against evil. We must always speak up even when we are surrounded by the enemy.
I can say to those whose morals change on a daily basis or change depending on what is treading on the internet –
Christianity will survive no matter how hard the pressure gets to change the minds of Christians around the world. We will hold true to Jesus Christ and our faith.
What difficulties have you experienced in defending your faith?
